Document Packager
The Add
Document Package feature allows you to upload multiple documents
to Blackboard all at once. All the documents within the uploaded
zipped folder will be added to the content area as individual items.
For example you can upload a folder called Lecture Notes, and include
all 15 weeks of notes with one upload.
Discussion Grader
The Discussion
Grader feature makes it easy for instructors to review and evaluate
student participation in the discussion forums. Instructors can
view all the posts by a individual student to a specific forum on
one page. A grade can then be entered to the gradebook on that same
page, without having to access the gradebook view.

- Hide off-semester courses
- Show course name and/or ID number
- Choose to show or hide announcements
Course Content and Navigation
- Quick Edit feature allows instructors to make changes
to a course content page from within the student view. Quick
Edit creates a short cut to edit content, without having to
go through the Control Panel.
- Text Box Editor
- WYSIWYG - Users may
format text, create and insert HTML, and upload document
and media files to a text box. The Text box Editor also
allows users to copy and paste content (including HTML)
from Microsoft applications.
- Spell Check - Users
can identify and correct spelling errors. The Spell Check
feature is supported by a full English dictionary.
- New Glossary Tool - creates a glossary for your course
Collaboration and Communication
- Message Center - internal course message center with
the functions of an email account.
Messages can only sent and received within the course.
