  3. Make a note of the two- digit PH number in the column to the right of your name. This number indicates the last two digits of the telephone number assigned for your program.
  4. Also, note the channel (CH) number assigned for your program.

Controlling Your Playback via the Classroom Telephone

  1. Turn your television or video projector to the channel (CH) that has been assigned to your program. To select channels 2 through 9, press "0" first (02, 03, 04, etc).
  2. To connect to the player via the classroom telephone, dial "414" plus the two digit PH number on the telephone keypad and WAIT FIVE SECONDS. The wait period is crucial for the connection to be made between the phone in the classroom and the player at ITS.
  3. Press 1 on the telephone keypad to start playing your program. Connection with the equipment is maintained until you hang up. Repeat step 2 if you hang up or if the connection is lost.
  4. To issue further commands such as stop, rewind, or pause, refer to the telephone commands listed below.
  5. When you have finished with your VHS or 3/4" tape, please rewind the tape by pressing "4."
  6. Hang up the phone.
  7. Turn off television or video projector and other media equipment before you leave.
