Both students and faculty can benefit from on-the-go applications that extend access or tool availability whenever and wherever they are. Faculty can view and grade assignments using the Turnitin app. Techsmith Fuse can be used to capture video on smartphones and tablets. Blackboard Collaborate and Mobile Learn apps provide access to many Blackboard features.

Features and Benefits
- Blackboard currently offers Mobile Learn and Bb Student which allow students and faculty to access content and use several Blackboard features. An Instructor version that will also allow grading will be available soon.
- Turnitin released a mobile app that is currently being used by several faculty; to date, no problematic issues have been reported.
- Blackboard Collaborate Mobile is easier to use than the web-based version. You simply click the “Join” button in your course and it launches faster and with no input from user.
Getting Started Questions
Can students use their mobile devices to take tests? – Although it is possible to take tests on mobile devices, we recommend online tests be taken using traditional methods (i.e., on a desktop or laptop computer).
Can students take a Respondus LockDown Browser test on their mobile device? – Although Lockdown Browser tests can be taken on a mobile device, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer.
