Fun or interesting fact about yourself: I use to play the violin, the guitar, and the piano —none of which I still play today. Although, the best instrument is your voice. I really enjoy singing a cappella, but of course only in private.
How did you hear about ITS? Through Kao Saechao. Another fun fact, he’s my older cousin!
Tell us about a notable instance when you gave or received help: One rainy day, I stopped at a gas station in the middle of no where on a drive up to Northern California. I was about to close my car door and head back out on the road when a Korean and French couple approached me and stopped my door. As you can imagine, I was really frightened because I thought I was getting robbed. The couple spoke to me aggressively in both Korean and French, but no matter how hard they tried, I did not understand a word. The wife got halfway into my car, put her phone in my face, and pointed to an unknown number. I had no idea what was happening, so I decided to dial the number. It happened to be Enterprise Car Rental. With the help of Google translate, I was able to assist the couple with some basics, and finally got a translator on the line to help sort out the details. This was a very unforeseen event, but I was glad I was able to help the couple. I can understand how scary it might be to be lost in a foreign country and not speak the local language.
Is there something specific you’d like to learn more about working at ITS? I want to learn how to be better acquainted with using and troubleshooting computers and sound systems in and/or out of classrooms.
