Hello everyone! I am a year two biology major, with a minor in psychology, from Orange County. This will be my second semester as a CHEM 100 SI leader. I became an SI leader because I am eager to help people accomplish challenging concepts. Additionally, as I completed the CHEM 100 course, I sought after a program like Supplemental Instruction that reinforces the difficult concepts discussed in the course. Outside of school and SI, I love to hike and ski.
Hi everybody! My name is Selena and I am from San Diego, CA. I am a sophomore majoring in Public Health. Some of my favorite things to do are go to the beach, play with my puppy, and eat ice cream. This year will be my first year as an SI Leader and I am so excited! I joined SI because I love everything about it. I want to help others succeed in a course that I once thought was challenging. I attended SI for Chem 100 just last semester and it helped me a lot! I hope that I can use what I’ve learned to help all of you succeed. See all of you at my sessions!
I was born and raised in San Diego. I am currently a sophomore at SDSU. My major is Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy and this will be my second semester with Supplemental Instruction. My motivation for becoming an SI Leader was my desire to help my fellow students successfully navigate the challenging course and subject that is chemistry. My favorite hobby is traveling, and I’ve already met my personal goal of visiting five different countries this year.
Hi! My name is Crista Gregoire. I am from Los Angeles, and I am a sophomore Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences major with a minor in Psychology. This is my second semester as an SI Leader for Chem 100. I became an SI Leader because I love the concept of SI and wanted to give back to SDSU in a unique way. I am a member of Kappa Delta sorority and I work at an ice cream shop during the summer. One interesting fact about me is that I once was on a game show and won! Hopeto see you at my sessions!
I am a second-year Microbiology major (with a planned chemistry minor). I am originally from Upstate New York but had to move to San Diego for school to escape the brutal winters. This will be my second semester as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for Chemistry 100. This course is tough, I was in your place not too long ago, so I know what it’s like. In fact, I became a Supplemental Instruction Leader for this course because I know what it is like to struggle with the content. Now, I want to be able to help others understand it. My goal for my sessions is to make the class content more clear and to diminish any confusion that arises. This is such a challenging course, and there’s nothing better than being able to work with students and watch them understand a topic they had been struggling with!

I’m from Kingsburg, CA (just south of Fresno). I am a second year Chemistry major at SDSU, and this will be my first time being and SI Leader. I became an SI Leader because I love chemistry and I like to help other people understand things. One interesting fact is that I hate the number 4 with a passion.
Hi! My name is Hannah Valentine, and I am from Kansas City. I am a sophomore this year, and I am a Pi Phi here on campus. I am in love with the ocean, being outdoors, and really all things nature, hence why I am majoring in Geology! I am so excited to be a part of the SI Team this year as a new Chemistry 100 SI Leader. I was able to attend several beneficial sessions last year, and now I will be able to share that experience with others through my help. I can’t wait for this semester, and I hope you all come to my sessions 🙂
