Hi my name is Ryan Colelli and I’m a 4th year Economics and Statistics double major from Yorba Linda, California. I’m very excited for my first year as an SI Leader. I wanted to become apart of this program to help students connect with one another and achieve academic success. I’m looking forward to this year and helping my peers.
Hello, my name is Alex Donabedian. I am from the Bay Area and this is my first year here at San Diego State. My passion for airplanes and rockets has driven me to major in Aerospace Engineering. This will be my first semester as a Math 150 SI Leader. I have attended many SI sessions in the past and they have helped me develop a better understanding of the material in multiple classes. I am really excited to join the SI team because I believe it is a great opportunity to practice deeper concepts in a smaller group setting. A hobby of mine is playing soccer. I played competitively all the way up through high school. On my free time, I also love to skateboard and surf at the beach. I’m looking forward to meeting other students as we get through the exciting semester ahead!
Hi! My name is Lauren Lawless, and I was born and raised in San Diego. This will be my second year studying Environmental Engineering here at SDSU. This is my first semester as an SI Leader for Math 150, and I am excited to be apart of this program because I enjoy working with students and aim to help them understand Calculus as much as I can. While studying takes up most of my time, I am also a dance instructor and have been competitively and recreationally dancing since I was 3 years old.
I’m Inès, and I’m from Paris, France, where I grew up. I finished high school there before moving to San Diego for school in the fall of 2016. This is my second year at SDSU where I am studying Chemistry to hopefully go to medical school later on. I am a new member of the Math 150 (Calculus 1) SI Team this semester. The reason why I wanted to become an SI Leader is mostly because I took Chemistry 200 last semester and going to SI Sessions really helped me understand the concepts seen in class, as well as how to solve chemistry problems in the most effective way. I really believe that SI Sessions helped me get better grades on exams and made me realize what I needed to work on more. Since it helped me a lot while taking the class, I decided to become an SI Leader to help other students better understand the concepts and problems in Math 150. A hobby of mine is I recently started playing the guitar which quickly became one of my favorite things to do when I have free time, even though I’m really bad at it.
Hi! My name is Caitlin Zamudio. I was born and raised here in San Diego, and one of my favorite things to do is go to the beach. I am a second year Statistics major with an emphasis in Actuarial Science. This is my second semester as an SI Leader and I am super excited to be a part of the team. I became an SI Leader because I truly feel that this program is an amazing addition to the math department. I look forward to helping out students who wish to better their knowledge in Calculus.
