I’m Alyssa and a returning SI Leader for the Linear Algebra (Math 254) class. I’m originally from the Bay Area and am in my final semester at State. This is my fourth semester being an SI Leader and my fifth time taking the class, so I like to think that I know the ins and outs of it pretty well at this point! Being a Math (Single Subject Teaching) major, SI was the perfect step into what I want to do. I attended SI sessions myself and I found them so beneficial because it gives you a chance to meet people that are all in the same boat as you are and use that to help each other throughout the course. Because let’s be real, asking a question in the middle of lecture is pretty intimidating! But outside of SI and school, I’m very into music and seeing live shows. Whether it’s an artist I know or not, if the tickets are reasonably priced and someone asks me to go, I’ll be there. Generally in life, I’m always looking for the next adventure! I can’t wait to meet some of you soon!
Hi I’m Sara and I’m from Torrance, CA. I am a second year Electrical Engineering student. I consider math to be a very fun and interesting subject. This will be my first semester in SI and I’m really excited because I have always loved to help out other students and share my knowledge. In my free time I like to go to the beach and go on cool hikes.
Hi! My name is Alex Lopez and I am from San Diego, CA. I am in my second year here at SDSU, studying Computer Science. This semester I will be an SI Leader for MATH 254. This will be my first semester as an SI Leader, and I am looking forward to it. I joined SI because I saw it as an opportunity to help students gain a better understanding of the concepts taught in class. When I am not busy with school, you can find me making films, and occasionally shooting photos.
Hello everyone! my name is Erick, I am a fourth-year Electrical Engineering major, with a minor in Marketing. I am excited to be returning to SI to facilitate MATH 254.
