Zoom Update & Security Settings

To verify your Zoom application is up to date, launch Zoom and select “Check for Updates…” from the zoom.us menu in the upper left corner of your screen, as shown below:

Mac users can enable additional protection by selecting “Turn off my video when joining a meeting” within your Zoom preferences. To do this, select Preferences from the zoom.us menu in the upper left corner of your screen, as shown below:

Then click on the Video tab:

Then select the “Turn off my video when joining a meeting” setting:
