Summary:
Ralph Blanchard serves as an Instructional Media Support Technician within Instructional
Technology Services at SDSU. His past experience spans various roles in media creation
and previous engagements at San Diego State University as a student assistant and
consultant for the Empathy Lens initiative. As an Instructional Media Support Technician,
Ralph is responsible for instructional media development, consultation and faculty
support in the FIT Center, and supporting the Academic Media service area of ITS.
Education:
Ralph earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Television, Film, and New Media Production
from San Diego State University in 2021. Prior to this, he graduated Cum Laude with
a Bachelor of Arts in Teledramatic Arts and Technology from California State University,
Monterey Bay, in 2011.
Fun Fact:
Ralph also serves as an Instructor at SDSU in the department of Theater, Film, and
New Media. Additionally, he is an accomplished filmmaker, occasional Background Metal
Vocalist, and takes pride in his latino heritage rooted in Costa Rica.
